This project explores how traditional building techniques can be adapted for modern living. Designed in collaboration with Dr. Wesam Al Asali, the underground structure uses vaulted terracotta to blend into the landscape while improving insulation and energy efficiency. Instead of the usual inside-out design process, the interior was shaped in response to the structure and surroundings. The goal was to create a simple, functional living space that respects both craftsmanship and contemporary needs.
